Following in his father’s footsteps
Claus’s real estate story began at home, inspired by his father’s work in the property world. From early on, he saw how meaningful it can be to guide people through big life decisions such as buying or selling a home. That influence led him to start his career in real estate in the mid 1990s, focusing on Spanish property and quickly gaining hands on experience with international buyers and sellers.
Early years in music
Before real estate became his main path, creativity played a big role in Claus’s life. In his younger years, he played in a music band, performing and collaborating with others. Those experiences developed his sense of rhythm, teamwork, and stage presence, skills that now translate into calm communication, confidence with clients, and the ability to “read the room” in any situation.
Bringing creativity back into his life
Today, alongside his established career in property, Claus is consciously bringing more creativity back into his daily life. He expresses himself through writing and other personal projects, reflecting on everyday moments with humour and heart. This renewed creative energy helps him look at real estate from fresh angles, whether he is describing a home, advising clients, or thinking about how a property might fit into someone’s life story.
